So easy to built his own poker table, and so fun, i'm telling you...!!

Today's is the first round of the presidentials in France! 43 million voters, 12 candidates and they will be only 2 left at the end of this sunday (8 pm french time)!
too much candidates it sucks! lol !when you vote for small candidats who have a good project(like ecologists or parties of the workers) you feel like it's useless because these candidat don't even plan on being president just because they can't !anyway it shows pretty well how the French are divided! Am not going to waste my voice so am gonna vote for one of the 3 favourites (the 3 on the top in the pic)!
All candidats were born during the babyboom and are pretty well managing with their image (like in hollywood or in poker lmao) but 2 of them bluff too much ( the 2guys)so am gonna vote for miss Ségolène Royal she's far prettier than the two guy lmao! and she's more progressist! i wish the extremist are gonna get a big slap and then shut their mouth a bit in that country who don't need so much polemics!! I hope this election will change in good the project of a united europe and what better than a serious energic women to change the image of an old and static country after 12 years of unfruitful reforms by the power in place (berk)!

how to know your chance easily postflop

HI little blog have no fear i didn't forgot you !! not been bloggin much these day but i was really busy because of the university and because the poker leagues at poker.com took all my free time!! but let's talk about poker texas holdem strategy!!

After doing by myself the probabilities to catch your hand postflop regarding the number of your outs!( i know i'm mad and that this probab are already on the net, but it's a good way to understand it that to make it)so after i've done it and checked if they were good i remarked something interesting!

The thing is that the percentage can be known very easily and with out any big calculation! you just need to count well the nummber of outs you have to improve your hand!

For example : you have 65 of hearts and the flop is 9h, Jh, 2c let's say in that example that you're with one opponent and that he has JdTd in the hole, so at this point he has only a pair of Js with 10kicker!
at this point you only think to catch a fluch to win the hand.. (backdoorstraigt or backdoor 3o kind will give you 2more % that we'll add later.. )

So..the number of your outs to improve your hand into a winning hand are the hearts still in the deck (2h, 3h, 4h, 7h, 8h, 10h, Kh, Qh, Ah) there are 9 , 9 cards that you can catch on turn to improve you hand!

the thing i remarked is that : to know you chance(%) on the flop for the turn, you only have to multiply the number of your outs by 4!!
so 9X4=36% + the 2%of Bacdoor straight od 3okind = 38% !! easy no??

and the other amazing thing is that if you don't catch your flush on turn, ( ex : turn is 7c) to know your chance for the river you only have to multiply your outs by 2

at this point you still have only 9outs to win the hand so..
9X2=18%!!18% chance to catch your flush on river!

this rules of 4 and 2 works pretty well for a nb of outs under or equal to 12 ! between 12 and 22 it's better to multiplicate by 3.5 instead of 4 ( X2 is still good over 12 outs)

it's a very easy way to know your chance postflop in a hand and then you can ask yourself some question like :
do my oponent have some of my outs in his hand? which is not good for my chance!
or what if i got one of my outs but that it makes the board pairing and put a potential full house on that board? do my opponent flopped a set? etc etc...

all good question which help to have an idea of what your opponents have!!!

this is with that technics that you can make some magic trick and tell the hand your opponent have! yes it works sometimes !!and then your oponents will think your spooky

this post is only for my early results in tournaments at poker.com!
i finished 2nd in the 5$ - 1k guarented and earning 250$ ish! which is the best prizes i've won this year so far!
here are two other win in tournaments!
the 200 guarented on the 18/02/2007 and the 300 guarented W/addons on the 19/02/2007

The Hollidays arrives next week and i hope to find at least a weekend to go to paris playing live and have fun!

Winter championship main event! clic to see the leader board

After a very bad run of cards in the previous events of the poker.com winter championship, i finally got a pretty good result in the Main event!
3 main period occured for me in that tourney:

1- the early starts : starting chips 5k : after a phiew hands in a prety tight table i was at 6k ish, then i took some beat on some too decontracted call or due to a phiew bad read and went to 3k ish! from now starts the 2nd period!

2-the agression : after playing a bit too loose i decided to focus 100% on that tourney (dam the buyin is 60$ NOKY! lol )so i start the agression and became pretty unreadable while i did some pretty hard and good read! why everyone wants to bluff me? lol ! i came to 20k in like 5 hands! then i took a little beat whit a pair of aces and i got out kicked, so i went to 12k in chips and decided tobecome more and more agressive, after making some other good call and putting some traps my stacks came to 70k chips!! at this moment i was 2nd of the tourney! happy but still focusing ! i knew that the serious thing would start now! many player can't contain their emotion and start to play too loose because they thik they have to steal alot because of their chip count! so my strategy was to keep being agressive but not to waste my table image by stealing to much on position where a bully would normally steal with rags, increasing btw his chance to get an accident! so this strategy was actually good because i could take some nice pot thanks to my good table image : solid and not bluffy (not bluffy was only the image ! lol )

3-resisting to make the finale table : i'am at 80k chips, and my position moves from 2nd to 8th in a 1rst time, then happened what i really was afraid to happen : the fecking cold deck which makes you buble if you tilt! i didn't tilt and folded alot of hand to finally enter in the money! woohoo ! was happy and now was waiting for some cards! now i'm the shortstack and we're only 11 player still in! i got the best hand i've ever had in the tourney, KK on SB, was at 40k chips with already 5k in the pot, a guy in middle position raised to 30k and i went allin to find that my best hand ever in that tourney was against the best hand of the texas holdem :AA!! ohhhhh noooooooo!!!

So i was a bit sick to lose and to not make the finale table but i won 5 time my buy in so am happy!

I am 56th out of 994 player in the leaderboard ; congrats to bertiewooster for winnig this, and congrats to my team mate Gene1047 who finished 50th!!

I'm not gonna lose my time in a long introduction...Here is what i've found on a french poker magazine! the most popular pro poker player's nicknames!
Some are apparently working on poker.com but as most of 'hem are playing on other sites, be aware that as poker.com is an independant poker site the nicknames which will be added successfully in your buddy list are probably not representing the pro players!
As far as i know till now, only Erick123 represent Erick Sagstrom at poker.com ( but i'm not sure)see Sagstrom at the Montecarlo million S2! Anyway, i think you'll enjoy it!

2007 personal tourney results for now

HI!
first I thought 2007 would be a hard poker year because of losing a bit in sng! maybe the champagne have hit my head too much lol!

But i finally won my first tourney! and two day later another one! Not big one sadly, but good enough to feel alrite! so there are a 200$ guarented NL holdem that i forgot to take a screenies,and a 5$NL holdem! Sadly my best place in the 3K guarented (my favourite tourney!) is 20th (won30$, which just pay the buyin bak +7little bucks)this year so my rush in this one has stopped with the new year! cry ! but i'm confident for the future!

Open de France EPT 2007 CANCELLED!!!

I just learned that the french open of the 2007 EPT is cancelled!!
that's what the site of the EPT says! this tourney should have had take place at Deauville in a casino of the Barrière's group! the group Barriere may soon post a message to say it has been cancelled, and there's a little hope that this event will still take place in France, but i got no illusion regarding that the french government have discliamed war to poker and online gambling!

The main reason that this event has been cancelled is that the main sponsor of the EPT is Pokerstar.com, and every advertisment for online gambling is prohibited here! but that's a true swindle because there was already some EPT event on the french TV! They just decided that in order to not do like Germany or Poland which let the EPT stand in their country because it's a good add for their cities and because French casino have just open many very modern poker room and because they became yoo power full in the economy of a region, more over i'm sure it's because of the pressure of Montecarlo who want to keep hi french big player in his casino!

Here is another prove of the french politics stupidity :

when the TELETHON took place in France last december (it's a National charity day, where every people can donate to help the patient of myopathy), there was many charity poker game organized in many cities, but they were none legal (regarding to french rules you need to have an autorization to create those games), so they were non-legal and the government and the cops were aware that those games would took place, they knew it phew weeks before the D day, BUT and that show the stupidity, they waited till the day of the Charity tournaments to cancell the events when every thing was installed etc.... I precise that some would have given all the prizes to charity and some would have given the half of prizes because this half prizes tourney was pretty big buyin and to have a good number of player they decided to give money back to some winner etc ... BUT no difference forhem they cancelled every of that tourney by doing a big cop mission all around the country!!!!

IF SOME FRENCH READ THAT PLEASE DON'T VOTE "SARKOZY" AT THE NEXT PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!! VOTE FOR WOMEN VOTE FOR LIBERTY VOTE "SEGOLENE ROYAL"!!!

$2000 guarented freeroll this night...I was chip leader, with the best table image possible(solid, lucky when needed, etc - i like when evill666 say: "i make my luck" -)sooo on my way to win the ribbon.... to OUT!!

Was on the table with the 2nd in chips, he bluffed me on a hand i raised, i was BB (4000) and made it to 16000 total with A4diamonds after everybody has fold, the BB (BigJ101, chipleader at this moment) called with Q5, flop is 10 2 4 rainbow, so i bet my pair of 4 > 8000, he felt weakness so he raised to 32000, just at this moment i thought to go allin, but finally i said : "you bluff but you will outdraw on runners so i fold" he showed Q5 and made a rabbit, i would have won the hand.grrrrrr!

3K tonite : i'm pissed : i'm chip leader after two hand at the finale table: then no cards! ZERO, even when i folded ! one time i raised a pot on the button with K8 the BB called with 3J and caught 373 on flop! lost with A5 vs 88 preflop allin bet with a 5 on flop...ty RNG...just disgusting!

Ohhhh! And just for fun i've registered to Naked Poker! Lmao! thought there would be some strip poke there but it's a bit disapointing! lol ! haven't played in it yet but watched the table! and only the dealer is naked :-( ! i'll look forward about the tourney to see if there's something interesting, and i let you know!...

Once again in prizes of the 3 k and 1.5k but small this time!

Now i'm really thinking to be an active affiliates for poker.com! my aim is to promote this site first around my friends community and as much as i can over everywhere i go in France! You know France is just opening some Poker room in her casino and Poker is just a new fashion thing here...we only got our first poker paper revue this summer !!!! But i'm sure that this will be soon a very serious vocation for many frenchies and i will be there when this will happen!

So my next aim is to do a Poker promoting program for french player, and off course it will be at poker.com! The core of this project is to create a Tournament not for frenchies only but rather for french speaking people, which can be very interesting regarding that even if english is everywhere now, the French is spoken in 53 country 175 millions people have it as a birth language, and 115 millions as a second language = 290 millions total (8th language in the world)! so this could be a lot of fun to see french people from everywhere in that tourney! it's maybe an ambitious project but be sure that i will work hard for it! have no fear NOKY's here!!!!

woot! just finished 8th in the 3K guarented yesterday!
This is far away the best freezout regarding the level of game!
i'm proud to have some good results in it! 3 played , 1finsih 1rst! 1 lost , 1 finished 8th! hoping for a new win tonite!

I'm happy to see that many different tournament are on the main schedule now, but i'm a bit disapointed that there's only one big buy in tournament per day at poker.com , the 3k guarented ( buy in 23$+2$) and it's at 20:45 pm lobby time ! which is approximatively at 3:00 am european time !

have a look! there's many small buy in tournament now and many rebuy + addon allowed!

I'm bored to be outdonked inthat small buy ins tourney! the level of the game is poor compared to the 3k!

So i'd like to see another 3k guarented earlier regarding poker.com time in order that european player can have a chance to play an interestig tourney during their day ! 12:00 lobby time is approximatively 18:00 european time and this time can be cool for us europeans player who are bored to wait till 3 in the morning!

ok, here is what happened to me yesterday night in a cash game :
i just went back from a bar called "the Key West" where i drank a "route du rhum", it's 18 little glas of prepared rum, i was with a friend and we both came out a little joyfull but not drunk! then back to home i played the Rue sainte Catherine room (NL 100$, 1$/2$) at poker.com, i put the max in, 100$ so..and i played very well! so well that in one hour i was at 275$! my friend was stil with me, and at this moment i said we have to go now we're good enough winners! he just said : "hummmm" like hummm no i want more! lol ! and as i was a bit on fire (ty rum) we continue to play. The next hand i was dealt 1010, i raised , i've been reraised and just call to see the flop, i didn't pay his allin bet on a low card flop and lose a 50$ dollars bill without seing his hand ! i said :"hum this smell no goods.. now we should leave..we are at 220$..it's ok now" and the hand just after this ...AA all red!!! LOL !!! i raised big(8$) and a guy who just entered the game called me, the flop came ...549 all hearts, so i went allin with my big over pair and max flush draw to earn the pot, and what a surprise he called.....he had 99 and i lose all my money in that pot because no heart and no aces came off course! so i came out with 120$ and was a bit stunned on what has just happen in two hands! i played that two trapping hands perfectly to my mind! after i left i just remind to myself a saying of the movie Casino with Robert de Niro :"the key for a casino is to make the gambler play the longer period you can, more longer they play more money they lose!!" i just left the game and said to my friend :" fucking poker site!" lol
So yesterday's lesson is not that to drink before playing poker makes you play bad (it's not always true and not always wrong)! actually i played my best poker in the first hour, but that it can makes you take the wrong decision regarding the context of a game(cash game specially)! i'm talking about that alcohol can multiply the lure of winnings and then destroy your habilities to leave or not a game at the right moment which is not good for an ambitious poker player!

First i want to apologize to everyone who tried to say hello to me on the BPT event and had no answer back...I'm sorry because i didn't play the event that i was waiting eagerly to play! BUT i had to miss it...The reason is that i was requested to help a friend to create some musical activities for the TELETHON in my small village...So i'm sorry to say that when some of you get busted out of the flopilicous event i was having a very nice charity soiree LOL! This was just a calendar coincidence, which put me in front of a dilema ...and i chose the fiesta..hihi! i wanna say that i still put a lot of hope in the BPT and that i want to play it to win it! so after that little problem you can be sure to count on me for the next event and moreover fo the next season...

FTL now. First, i wanna tell to every blogger playing the league that , as i will be the score manager next season and maybe for a phew other, you can ask me here if you want you have your individual points or any stats you're interested to see! I know that some of you think that those stats are a bit too much for a friendly league, but my point of view is that every info is good to know, and that the aim of these statistics is just to give to a player some way to find out how to improve them! Another good day first, because i'm happy to say that i have my coupon for the the penultimate event of the 2nd regular season of the BPT, and that i'm registered in it thanks to flopilicious blogs! phew was hard to understand that the PW were hosted by a different blog fo every event!
Moreover if someone have some precision about the hosting event thing, i'll be happy to learn more about it! ty in advance!

Another hard day then, because there's only two 10 handed sng left in the poker.com Forum Team League, and that the team in third place is just 2pts behind us ! after finishing 8th and 9th in the 2 last Sng of Wednesday i swear that our luck is not completly gone....Anyway i'm just more eager to pass this chalenge successfuly! GO KQs !!!!

Another beautifull day, because i just won the 3k guarented at poker.com out of a field of 127 players who payed a 23$ buy in , so poker.com covered 79$ into the prize pool, which thing happens only in that tourney as far as i know!
Anyway, i'm proud of that wins because i was the shortstack at the finale table (me 12k, chipleader was at 50k)after making my only lucky pot of thetourney with KT vs AJ(board 4710 Q 10), i was at 40k and 4 player was with 40k, but i had to lay down some draw and went back to 20k after that i catch AK BB and busted out aplyer who had A7 SB, thanks to that hand i was chipleader for the first time of the event, and this time i haven't wasted it !hihi! phew hand after that i was at 150k and the other were at less than 40k, and after that i just thought if you play every hand corectly, you can't lose it! and that's what has happen! woohoo

ok here is a recap of the week end! Poker Poker Poker!
After a quiet calm week at the university (means i'was completly exausted hihi!) This was the perfect moment to have a week end playing confortably poker at poker.com!
So firday i confirme to my self that i was playing some good poker in online tournament recently, because i finished 2 nd of a 5$ freezout out of a field of abit more than 120 players! i busted only 5 players out, which is a bit not enough to finish runner up normally!!
A good week end too for my Poker team the Kingquistadors, we did a great tourney on saturday ( we were'nt the best !hihi) BUT it was good enough to keep our 2nd place in the team leader board before the 4 lasts 10handed sng , and that was our main aim...congrats to mimi2mik (the Queen of KQs)who finished 2nd! Wooot!
This season of the Forum team league at poker.com has seen the lead of the new teams, but it was not some big lead!! after week 4 MTT it was still anyones game except for the 1rst place (DA reservedlol)! so i hope we'll do better next season and win it!! GO KQ !!

HI! yesterday i was too tired to post that i wis a happy Thanks Giving to every of my english speaking friends! Mimi i bet 2$ for today that you have took some kg! hihihi...in france we donot celebrates thanks giving or it's only in very christianist family and we call that "le jour de l'aven"! don't count on me to translate!
There was a turkey tourney yesterday at poker.com, i didnt' play it but i wanna say congratulation to ference!! he's an old team mates of the KingQuistadors, and finished 2nd out of 777 player, congrats to Kat , drugsarebad and cazwill too who finished in prizes!!OK now , todays video! just one of the best musical performance with ab electric saxophone! ladies and gentlemen : Michael Breaker!

HI! today i'm happy, 1rst because yesterday there was the chiampion's league, and Lyon made a great game vs El Real de Madrid; 2 -2, is the score and Lyon assured to finish 1rst! so proud of hem! it's been a long time in france that we have had a great team like that...

2nd, i'm happy because , if no big problems are coming, i'll be playing the next event of the BPT, i know this will be hard to catch the 1rst prizes, but ,it could be a good training till the pts count are down back to zero!!

I'm going to start a little thing: every day i'll post here the link of a video which have really stonished me!
